| The Grand Haven Corps Community Center is located one block west of Beacon Blvd. (US 31) and one block south of Fulton Street. This facility provides a full range of service and worship activities on a regular basis. The Office is open from 9:00AM to 12:00 Noon and 1:00PM to 4:00PM Monday through Friday. Under the direction of the Social Services Coordinator families and individuals are provided with Food, Rent, Utility, Prescription, Transportation and other assistance as needed under Emergency Services. Character building programs of the Adventure Corps (Boys grades 1-9), Sunbeams (girls in grades 1-5) and Girl Guards (girls in grades 6-12) are available to any boy's and girls in the community. These programs offer opportunity for social interaction, the development of physical mental and social skills, and the discovery of Christian values and principles. Regular expressions of Worship take each week on Sunday and Wednesday evenings in an effort to explore the gift of God’s love and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Other group opportunities include Band, Timbrels (tambourine playing), Women’s Fellowship (Home League), Men’s Fellowship, Adult Fellowship, Youth Fellowship and a College Age Fellowship. | |
